Constant Contact CB Integration Plugin - Configuration

This plugin consists of the plugin and a profile tab that will allow your users to see their opt-in status as well as be able to get to their Constant Contact profile easily. Simply follow all of these 8 Easy Steps to enable, configure and install the plugin and profile tab.
(These instructions are for version 3.1.3 and greater.)

Requirements:

You must have a Constant Contact Account.

Plugin Configuration

1) Click on the Constant Contact Plugin which will most likely be found near the bottom of your list.
(You may need to goto the next page, depending on how many plugins you have installed.)

2) Publish the Plugin by selecting 'Yes'

3) Enter the following Parameters completly:

  • a) Your Constant Contact User Name
  • b) Your Constant Contact Password
  • c) Any List ID's that you want to auto-subscribe your users to
  • d) Any List ID's that you want to hide from your users

To obtain the List ID's, (after the plugin has been published) login to the front-end of your website as a Super Administrator and view your profile. The List ID's are shown in red. Any lists that are blue are the lists that you have selected to hide.

4) Save the Plugin

4a) You should see that the plugin was saved successfully
5) Next, goto the Tab Manager

Profile Tab Configuration

1) Click on the 'Newsletter Subscriptions' Tab which will most likely be found near the bottom of your list.
(You may need to goto the next page, depending on how many plugins you have installed.)

2) Enter the following Parameters completly:

  • a) The Opt-in Status
    • The text to show for the status are set by default. If you would like to change the text that the user will see in their profile, update it here.

(Optional) If you want to change the name of the tab as it shows in the user profile, change it here.

3) Click "Save" when done
